This is an original Reebok Liverpool official shirt. This classic Liverpool shirt was worn during the 1997-98 season and was manufactured by Reebok.
The 1997-98 away shirt was also used as the third shirt in the 1998-99 season and was a really good use of yellow and red. The collar has a smart overlap and the oval around the badge complements the red in the red and black detailing to the collar and cuffs. The 1997-98 campaign saw Roy Evans in sole charge of Liverpool, with 'the Spice Boys' era finding a new star in 18-year old Michael Owen. Having already scored on his debut the previous season, Owen struck 23 times in his first full season.
